Creating a Welcoming Atmosphere

The Hospitality Team at Erdington SDA Church plays a vital role in fostering community and fellowship by offering nutritious, plant-based meals to both members and visitors every Sabbath. This ministry is inspired by Jesus' example of service, where He emphasized the importance of caring for others. By sharing meals together, we aim to create an atmosphere of warmth and inclusion, allowing everyone to feel welcomed and cared for. Our commitment to serving healthy, hot, and cold meals aligns with our broader mission of promoting physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

The team’s efforts are rooted in a deep sense of purpose, as reflected in Psalm 90:17: *“And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.”* This verse encapsulates our prayerful desire that the work we do through this ministry not only nourishes the body but also uplifts the spirit.
